AWCB Cookbook

Americans living in Belgium have had the opportunity to discover and experience Belgian culture through the Belgians' love of fine dining and conviviality. This book reflects the special relationship between the Americans and their home abroad as they share some of their favorite recipes and fondly embrace the regional dishes that they have grown to love.

Hundreds of AWCB members gave their time and talents to produce this book. A testing committee tested thousands of recipes, and selected over 300 of the best. Careful attention was paid by their recipe chairman to create a perfect balance and representation from both the French and Flemish culinary traditions.

Apple Pie to Waterzooi will delight you with its lovely art work, help you with food product selection and tantalize your taste buds with its delicious recipes. You can purchase Apple Pie to Waterzooi at the reception desk. A portion of the cookbook sales help fund a Fulbright Scholarship that the AWCB sponsors every year. Please see the Philanthropy section for more information.
