Public Transport from Brussels: From within Brussels, take a bus or tram to a stop that crosses the W-bus line. (You can not access the club via tram or train, just this bus.) It is easy to access the W-bus line from many downtown buses and trams, which cross it in varied places, for example Bascule. Find information on: www.stib.be. Stops further south with shorten your trip on the W-bus. The "W" bus line runs south along Chaussee de Waterloo (Waterloose) from Brussels. Find the current W-bus schedule on http://www.infotec.be/index.aspx?PageId=633023153759916642&Language=english You must print the list of stops from the website and bring it with you. The list will have the stops listed with French names. When you get on, the driver asks your stop to determine the fee (~2 euros), but this does not mean the driver will stop. He only stops if someone presses the button, so the driver will drive quickly right past many stops, including Avenue de Erables.Once the bus crosses into the Dutch section, just north of the Club, maybe two stops before, the signs at the stops will be in Dutch (even though the list is in French).Pay close attention to the stops. The area near the Club is forested, and you will see one petrol station on the right, then another petrol station on the right in a larger intersection, then the stop is coming soon. You may also see the stop with Dutch name Middenhut which is one or two stops before the Club stop.
The W-bus runs twice an hour from Brussels, and leaves from the stop near the Club twice an hour. You can take a very small pram or stroller on the bus, but they are old buses with stairs, so you will need help to get on. The driver may ask that you go in the back doors which are wider, although the doors have signs saying you must go to the front. And if you are alone, you will not be able to get on by yourself. If you do get on the back, you will have to leave your baby in back to go pay, so getting on the front may be better. Again, only small prams will fit!
