Wine tasting: A discovery tour of good and great wines from Crete

This event is full and it clashes with our General Assembly meeting so we are not advertising it. 

Dear wine lovers,

It has been five years since I organized a Cretan wine tasting, so this June's Cretan wine discovery tour will be long overdue.

Crete is the southernmost of Greece's big islands and has produced quality wines since antiquity. Despite the southern latitude, high hills and mountains allow wine makers to produce excellent wines that are packed with flavor and acidity.

We will taste eight typical Cretan wines, mostly from local grape varieties including Vidiano, Mandilaria and Thrapsathiri. The wine will be paired with plenty of good food.
