Wine tasting: A discovery tour of Belgian wine

Dear wine lovers,

ICYMI, Belgium, best known for its amazing beers, has been taking home lots of prizes lately for its wines, too.

Both Wallonia and Flanders produce world-class sparkling wines and creamy whites and are starting to produce some reds that also deserve respect despite the country's northern latitude.

In case you're interested, here's a recent article I wrote about Belgian wines.

In this tasting we'll discover at least eight Belgian wines, paired with good food. We'll focus on sparkling wines and whites, because that's what Belgium is best at, but we will also try some up-and-coming reds. I'll tell you a little about the grapes and producers as we go.
